Southern Cross University's Fusion Festival celebrating our unity in diversity
Southern Cross University's annual Fusion Festival provides an opportunity to acknowledge, learn from and celebrate our diverse communities and aims to further intercultural understanding and communal harmony through cultural exchange and social connection.
Festival content has been carefully curated so that we can bring you an exciting week of diverse education and fun. It includes music, a photography exhibition, a multicultural recipe book, a live Chai & Chat faith and spirituality discussion and we will conclude the week with an LGBTIQ+ Trivia webinar to celebrate Wear It Purple Day.
Celebrate the diversity of our community through cultural exchange and social connection.
The Fusion Festival is a free event, open to Southern Cross University students, staff and to the public. The 2020 the Fusion Festival will be delivered On-Line.
The beautiful mosaic "Unity in Diversity" (below) was created by students, staff and community members who attended the 2017 Fusion Festival at Coffs Harbour campus. The mosaic project was led by local artist Tim Cole.
