Au Pair House Australia

Our Au Pair program with Au Pair House in Australia is simple and affordable. It is an exchange program and is an excellent way for a person from overseas to experience life in Australia. Being kind, friendly and helpful is what our families are looking for. The Demi-Pairs, Part-Time/Short term Au Pairs and Full-Time Au Pair pays (at a very affordable rate) our Australian company Au Pair House (based on the Gold Coast in Queensland) to carefully select a family to live in with, that also matches their requirements and receive great family support, a lovely home and family atmosphere. In return the Au Pairs help the family with light housework and looking after the children, normally with weekends free.

Au Pairs do not need to be qualified. Being kind, friendly and helpful is what our families are looking for. You can choose between Demi-Pair, Part-Time or Full-Time Au Pair programs depending on what suits you best!

Placement for all three programs is Australia wide. 

Information for Au Pairs

  • Our Australian Au Pair partner Au pair House service has the highest level of accommodation and the most affordable in Australia!
  • Depending on the program the Au Pair chooses to do (Demi-pair, Part-Time/Short term Au Pair or Full-time Au Pair), the cost is approximately equivalent to a third of any kind of accommodation available in Australia.
  • Accommodation and food available 7 days a week.
  • The work-schedule and the family profile will be described to the Au Pair before payment and commencement, so the Au Pair knows exactly what is expected from her, and when to start and finish every day.
  • Families associated with the programs are carefully selected, assessed and all live in very nice homes and close to shops, transport, and the beach or city.
  • The programs are for three months or 6 months, but the Au Pair can stay with the same family for up to 1 year (conditions apply) for FREE!
  • Extend the program WITH A DIFFERENT FAMILY, IN ANY CITY, allowing you to experience different parts of Australia within our program (conditions apply).
  • Assistance during your stay.
  • Au Pairs can find a paid job, travel, study or just relax at home in their free time (visa conditions apply).
  • Airport pick and 24-hour assistance during the length of stay.
  • After our Au Pairs have successfully completed the Demi or the Part-time/Short term program for 3 months with the same family, they can receive the Au Pair Certificate and a Letter of Recommendation for future paid jobs (conditions apply).
  • After our Au Pairs have successfully completed the Full-Time Au Pair Program for 5 months with the same family, they can receive the Au Pair Confirmation of Participation Letter in writing for future paid jobs (conditions apply).

The Au Pair pays (at a very affordable rate) our Australian Au Pair partner to carefully select a family to live in with, that also matches their requirements and receive great family support, a nice home and family atmosphere. In return the Au Pairs help the family with light housework and helps with children, normally with weekends free.

Our Australian Au Pair partner Au Pair House offers 3 different Au Pair programs. Two programs are on an exchange system, they are called:
Demi-pair – with school
Part-Time /Short Term Au Pair – without school
Full-time Au Pair and it is an hourly paid system

Au Pair Programmes with Au Pair House Australia

Demi-Pair (2017 price: AUS$ 1,110), includes:

  • Introduction to a selected family that offers you accommodation with a private bedroom.
  • Access to all 3 meals.
  • Introduction to schools and options to choose from and also assistance with the enrolment process.
  • Blue card (License to work with children in Australia).
  • One-way transfer pick up for arrival.
  • Booklet about Au Pair duties and responsibilities.
  • Assistance in English, Japanese or Portuguese during the stay with the family.
  • 24 hour phone number to call in case of any emergency.
  • Certificate of Completion.
  • Reference Letter for future jobs.
  • Map of local areas and local businesses.
  • Fourteen (14) weeks of General English school lessons (20 hours a week).
  • School enrolment fee and material.
  • Up to 20 hours of work per week, no weekly salary involved, as the program is based on a cultural and boarding exchange system.

Important: The work-schedule is also provided, so all au pairs can check the tasks before accepting the family job position.

Part-Time/ Short Term (max three months) Au Pair (2017 price AUS$ 1,395) Package includes:

  • Introduction to a selected family that offers you accommodation with a private bedroom for 3 months.
  • Access to all 3 meals daily.
  • Blue card (License to work with children in Australia).
  • One-way transfer pick up for arrival.
  • Booklet about Au Pair duties and responsibilities.
  • Assistance in Japanese, English or Portuguese during the stay with the family.
  • 24 hour phone number to call in case of any emergency.
  • Certificate of Completion.
  • Reference Letter for future jobs.
  • Map of local areas and local businesses.
  • Up to 20 hours of work per week, no weekly salary involved, as the program is based on a cultural and boarding exchange system.

Full-Time Au Pair Package (2017 price AUS$ 1,795) includes:

  • Introduction to a selected family that offers you an au pair job position, including accommodation with a private bedroom and access to all 3 meals daily.
  • Au Pair works 25 to 40 hours a week, weekends free or if different to be organised prior to arrival.
  • Minimum payment between AU$ 150 and AU$ 240 per week depending on the working hours.
  • Our Australian Au Pair partner welcome contact on arrival.
  • Our Australian Au Pair partner community site access for extra information and access to contact other au pairs via email.
  • Our Australian Au Pair partner assistance while staying with the host family.
  • Contact via email twice a month by Our Australian Au Pair partner to make sure the au pair is happy or if need any assistance.
  • Access to information about travel, deals, visas, events, recipes, relationship, weather, currency, shows, concerts and much more 24 hours updated news on line.
  • Letter of Completion upon successfully finishing the minimum time of the agreement for future jobs – if requested.
  • 24 hour phone number to call in case of any emergency
